Happy New Year!

My friend back in junior high was extremely good at figure drawing and is really the one who taught me the basics of drawing (I've talked about him a few times before if you search the "art" tag). This book basically just helped me refine the things he taught me. Martin R. I, too, had a friend who was nauseatingly good at figure drawing - it was his Champions character illustrations that made me decide I'd teach myself how to draw super heroes. I never became very good at it (I would have if I'd stuck with it, but it wasn't something I enjoyed doing), but I do have a couple of V&V character drawings that I was happy with.

BTW, no need to apologize for being an adolescent boy and doing things an adolescent boy would do. You only need to apologize for that behavior if it continues BEYOND adolescence! :)Christopher Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17368794259249607299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-312698957749576588.post-26329557400216471992016-08-17T15:49:28.537-07:002016-08-17T15:49:28.537-07:00Well said! There are some things in here that I will never forget and while I may never be a great artist I feel that I am a better one for having read this book.thekelvingreenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01928260185408072124noreply@blogger.com
